TECHS OF ALL AGES EAGER TO LEARN THE LATEST AT TEAM DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT
Auto Profit Masters prioritizes career development of technicians
Auto Profit Masters is proud to announce the eight outstanding auto repair technicians who have received scholarships to attend the Team Development Summit this May in Denver, Colo. The ultimate training event for the auto repair industry, the summit offers technicians, advisors and owners unparalleled access to the nation’s leading auto repair industry experts.
David Rogers, president of Auto Profit Masters and a trainer at the summit, emphasizes the importance of investing in the careers of technicians to address the shortage of talent, reduce the high turnover rates at shops, and provide the excellent service today’s vehicle owners deserve. He added, “We’re excited to provide these techs with dynamic training that will help accelerate the pace of those choosing this amazing career path.”
The eight scholarship recipients include established and apprentice technicians from across the country. Receiving a full scholarship – including registration, hotel and airfare – are:
- Jason Robertson, Myers Automotive, Towanda, KS
- John Wells, Auto-Bon, Simsbury, CT
- Trevor Burie, D’s Auto & Truck Repair, Holland, MI
- Francis Hanafin, MJ Auto Repair, Wichita, KS
The following have been awarded airfare to the summit:
- Oscar Galvan, Melton Automotive, Alabaster, AL
- Jalen Simpson, UTI, Rancho Cucamonga, CA
- Marty Martin, The Mechanix, Skiatook, OK
“As a woman in the industry there have been many challenges, but I’ve never been known to back down from one,” said Keely Day. “I plan to continue to grow in this industry and attending the summit will be incredibly beneficial.”
The summit’s format is designed to cater to every member of the shop team’s needs, from cutting-edge diagnostics to leadership skills for growing sales and managing by the numbers for advisors, and guidance for building a winning culture and creating efficient teams for owners.
